JANIS (Java-based nuclear information software) is a display program designed to facilitate the visualisation and manipulation of nuclear data (evaluated, experimental, and bibliographic). Its objective is to allow the user of nuclear data to access numerical values and graphical representations without prior knowledge of the storage format. It offers maximum flexibility for the comparison of different nuclear data sets.
The JEFF project is a collaborative effort among NEA Data Bank member countries to develop a reference nuclear data library for use in different nuclear energy applications. The data are available in ENDF-6 format (complete library) and in ACE format (neutron file only).
The JEFF-3/A library is the JEFF Activation Library prepared from the European Activation File (EAF-2003). The data are stored in ENDF-6 format. Processed data are also available.
The European Activation File (EAF) is an extensive data library prepared for the European Activation System (EASY). The latest EAF library, EAF-2007, contains a suite of sublibraries for neutron-, proton-, and deuteron-induced reactions, as well as a decay data library.
The DVD contains EAF-2007 and an archive of the previous EAF libraries: EAF-2001, EAF-2003, EAF-2005, and EAF-2005.1 (an updated and extended release of EAF-2005). The complete documentation of the different libraries is also included (in pdf format).
Note that the libraries are available in the EAF format.
JENDL-3.3 (Japanese Evaluated Nuclear Data Library, Version 3, Revision 3) is an evaluated nuclear data library which is highly rated in the world, and consists of neutron nuclear data and secondary gamma-ray data for 337 nuclides. Numerical data and graphs are included. The data stored are the original data and point-wise data (0 K and 300 K) of JENDL-3.3 and graphs of cross sections.
README File of JENDL-3.3 Data & Figures CD-ROM 12 kB
The CD contains information for 47 nuclides and 67 reactions in both the SAND-II group structure and as 0K processed pointwise files. The pointwise files also include unresolved resonance parameters for self-shielding calculations, but cross sections are given explicitly in the pointwise format (MF=3).
JEFF Reports are more detailed studies carried out on very specific aspects of the JEFF project and can be used for referencing purposes. These are available free of charge from the NEA.
A complete list of all the documents in the JEF/DOC and EFF-Doc series is available. Most of these documents are papers presented at the various working group meetings of the JEF and EFF projects. These documents are available on-line in PDF format. (Please note that access to these documents is restricted to members of the JEF and EFF Working Groups.)
Nuclear Science and Data Bank publications include for example reports from the Working Party on International Nuclear Data Evaluation Co-operation (WPEC) and the different NSC Working Parties on reactor physics issues.
Several publications are available free of charge from the NEA.
