MDEP Activities and Accomplishments on Design-specific Working Groups
Presentation by MDEP on activities and accomplishments (purpose: presentations by MDEP design-specific working group chairs about what they are doing, what they have accomplished and what they plan to do in the future on the EPR and AP1000 reviews).

Design-specific Activities Panel
Panel discussion on new reactor designs and evaluations (Purpose: MDEP representatives, reactor designers, and operators/licensees will give their perspective on MDEP efforts through a brief presentation and the audience will be given the opportunity to ask panel members questions about their views on MDEP. Topics will be focused on MDEP activities and accomplishments, and recommendations regarding how to achieve positive results through co-operation with MDEP).

Presentation by MDEP on activities and accomplishments (Purpose: presentations by MDEP issue-specific working group representatives about what they are doing, what they  have accomplished, and what they plan to do in the future with respect to these issues).

Panel discussion on the issue-specific topics (Purpose: MDEP representatives, reactor designers, operators/licensees, and representatives from standards development organisations will give their perspective on MDEP's work on these issues through brief presentations and the audience will be able to ask panel members questions about views on MDEP. Topics will be focused on MDEP activities and accomplishments, and recommendations regarding how to achieve positive results through co-operation with MDEP).

Industry Initiatives on New Reactor Design
(Purpose: provide information about new reactor activities carried out by industry with a focus on how to co-operate globally to promote standard designs and harmonise requirements and standards. Topics will be focused on design activities and accomplishments, and views on recommendations regarding how to achieve positive results through co-operation with MDEP).

Panel discussion on new reactor design activities (Purpose: panel members will provide their perspective through presentations or comments on what their organisations are doing to promote the standardisation of designs. Comments may also be made on the presentations made by industry in the previous session. Topics will be focused on design activities and accomplishments, and views on recommendations regarding how to achieve positive results through co-operation with MDEP).

Concluding Panel
(Purpose: Discuss how to interact in the future to benefit from the work of MDEP and other groups on harmonisation efforts. Each panel member will provide a brief comment on the conference results and contribute to the general discussion).
